After working with several of the best Plaintiff’s firms and trial lawyers in the Tampa Bay area, Kathryn decided that she could better put her skills to use by making her skills available to many other lawyers.  Her solo practice focuses on assisting other Plaintiff’s trial lawyers throughout Florida.

Kathryn’s practice focuses on trial support and appellate practice in cases involving issues surrounding catastrophic personal injuries, proposals for settlement, declaratory actions, difficult liability cases, wrongful death, brain injuries, complex insurance coverage disputes, invasions of privacy, and cases involving allegations that an insurance company has breached the duties owed to their insurance customers.

She grew up in Neptune Beach, Florida and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of North Florida, in Jacksonville, Florida, majoring in social work and political science.  This experience convinced her that she could make a difference by assisting people in obtaining access to the judicial system.

She received her B.A. from the University of North Florida, near her hometown of Neptune Beach, Florida, in 1997, with honors and University Honors, and went on to graduate from Florida State University College of Law in 2003, magna cum laude, Order of the Coif.

After law school, Kathryn chose to make Tampa Bay her home, and has focused on representing those who have suffered injuries through the negligence of others.  She is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Florida.

Kathryn participates in a variety of professional organizations trying to improve the legal landscape for the injured, including the Florida Justice Association (https://www.myfja.org/) and the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association (https://www.tbtla.us/).   She is also frequently presents continuing education courses for other lawyers on issues of insurance coverage, evidence, trial practice, insurance bad faith, and ethics.

When not wearing a lawyer hat, Kathryn enjoys restoring and working on her house in Seminole Heights with her rescue dogs.   She also enjoys traveling to festivals and participating in the industrial music scene.
